Our high intensity personal training is based on resistance training and that’s why our personal trainers operate primarily out of the Complete Body Gym. The variety of gym equipment also makes it easier for our personal trainers to work with those who may have some underlying injury as a large selection of exercises provide more options to work around and rehabilitate injuries.

Showers and lockers are available at the Complete Body Gym, so if you need to take a shower after your workout, you are all set and towels are available as well!

Just me at 50.

I remember when I was a kid dreaming of one day looking like a bodybuilder. I started training at 14 years old, 125lbs soaking wet at 6ft tall and my first day at the gym the instructor told me I didn`t have the genetics to ever be a bodybuilder.

It really hurt to hear that but I kept going even though it felt there were always obstacle after obstacle in the way of me realizing my dream.

There was the drugs I`d never consider using, the supplements that didn`t work and the "training information" mostly based on what works for those on steroids. Nothing really for natural athletes and back then there were no prominent truly lifetime natural bodybuilders to look to for guidance, so I blazed my own trail.

I spent years developing and testing a protocol I would one day call Naturally Intense High Intensity Training whereby I`d train three times a week with blistering intensity for 10-20 minutes and then do my best not to pass out!

Results came steadily, but it always felt slow. Painfully slow, but I kept at it. I started training others, and got so much back from seeing their success with the program that it really helped keep me going for the many years it would take before I finally looked like a bodybuilder. I was 25, and I`ve been at it full throttle since then. Not because I wanted to be better, but because along the road to looking good, I found a path that felt good.

One that helped me grow both physically and as a person. And with just an hour a week commitment in terms of training time, getting in those workouts has never been a problem, (the problem is usually just trying to walk afterwards)

And so, at 50, twenty years removed from my last competition, I am simply grateful for what I have done and more so for what I have helped others accomplish and I hope my work and my journey helps you in some way on your own path towards excellence. Kevin`s High Intensity Concentration Curls!

This is a movement I do at the beginning of an arm workout to get the blood flowing and it`s extremely intense!

You don`t need a ton of weight I (only) used a pair of 35lb dumbbells for this one and it starts off as a modified one arm concentration-like curl and then compounds into a seated partial curl.

Twenty reps on the first phase and for the second one I zoned out, as I don`t really count much when I get into it, I just keep going and this time I got 9 reps but you can feel free to do 10!

If you are looking for a serious pump then you are most certainly won`t be disappointed with this exercise flow!

The Supplement Scam!

One of the biggest deceptions today is the fact that many fitness influencers promote supplements not because they believe it will work for you but because it`s profitable. I wish it were otherwise as a lot of natural bodybuilders and natural athletes spend a lot of money on supplements, and they do so on the recommendation of their favorite fitness influencers or bodybuilders and it`s the same scam today as it was many years ago when magazines were the main source of bodybuilding information.

Just like back then, the bodybuilders and athletes promoting supplements often never used them. Most of them used steroids to look the way they do, but jumped on the supplement promotion bandwagon because it`s profitable. They make money through sponsorships and affiliate links, selling products that have no connection to why they look the way they do.
